Rwanda Premier League champions APR FC have parted ways with three foreigners as the military side as the club continues restructuring its squad for new season.
A source at the club confirmed that the Rwandan champions have officially released Mamadou Sy, Lamine Bah, and Aliou Souane after two seasons, during which they contributed to APR FC’s domestic success.
The trio helped the army side win the BK Pro League title and the Peace Cup this season.
During their two seasons at APR FC, they helped the club win six trophies, including two Rwanda Premier League titles, two Peace Cups, the Super Cup and the Heroes Cup.
Sy who provided stability in midfield with his positional discipline said his time at APR FC left him with memorable experiences, describing it as a top club in Rwanda.
“APR FC is a good team, the best team in Rwanda. It is a team that always wants to win. Playing for APR FC is a great honour,” he noted.
During their two seasons at APR FC, they helped the club win six trophies, including two Rwanda Premier League titles, two Peace Cups, the Super Cup and the Heroes Cup.
Senegalese defender Aliou Souane was one of those who held APR FC’s back line, earning praise for his composure, defensive awareness, and consistency.
Malian midfielder Lamine Bah added depth and versatility, featuring in multiple midfield roles across various competitions and remaining part of the squad through the end of the season.
