Rayon edge Amagaju FC to Hand New Coach Francis Haringingo First League Win

Rayon Sports new coach Francis Haringingo secured his first win charge after 2-0 Rwanda Premier League victory over struggling Amagaju FC at Kamena Stadium in Huye on Sunday, April 26th, 2026.

Goals from Gloire Tambwe and Youssou Diagne in either half sealed the win for the Blues who now sit fourth on the table with 47 points, 14 points behind league leaders Al Hilal SC and eight behind APR.

Amagaju FC, meanwhile, stay 15th with 27 points, five points clear of the relegation zone.

Al Merrikh 3 Bugesera 0

Elsewhere, Madagascan forward Gilles Razafimaro scored a hat-trick as Al Merrikh cruised to a 3-0 victory over Bugesera FC.

Razafimaro found the net in the 40th, 52nd, and 87th minutes to not only carry his side to the win but also return to the race for the golden boot.

The win lifts Al Merrikh to third place with 52 points, with one game in hand.

Elsewhere, Seven times Rwanda Premier League champions SC Kiyovu and the 1988 Rwanda Cup winners Etincelles FC played out a goalless draw. Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi.
