Rwanda Peace Cup champions Police FC have parted ways with Tunisian head coach Ben Moussa after a disappointing 2025/26 Rwanda Premier League season.
The Rwanda National Police based club, confirmed the decision and thanked him for his service through a statement published on its official X platform.
The 39-years old, arrived at Police FC in July 2025 on a long-term contract, succeeding Rwanda’s former national team coach Vincent Mashami and tasked with transforming the club into genuine title contenders.
A coach well known in Rwandan football following his successful stint with APR FC, he returned to the country carrying a reputation for discipline, tactical organisation and a winning mentality.
His most notable achievement came in February 2026 when he guided Police FC to the Heroes Cup title after defeating APR FC in the final, securing his first trophy with the club for the law enforcers to book a ticket for CAF Confederation Cup.
Born in Tunisia, Abdessattar Ben Moussa built his coaching career across North Africa before making a name for himself in East African football.
Prior to joining Police FC, he managed APR FC and famously guided the military side to the Rwanda Premier League title during the 2022-23 season.
He later worked in Tunisia before returning to Rwanda to take charge of Police FC in 2025.
Followed by his departure, Police FC now begin the search for a new head coach ahead of the new season.
