Kampala Queens eliminated Lady Doves to reach the FUFA Women’s Cup for the first time in their history.
The Queens of Soccer beat the Masindi-based outfit, 4-0 on aggregate. The first leg in Kampala last Saturday ended in a 2-0, and the same scoreline was registered in the return fixture on Wednesday.
Kamiyati Naigaga and Joanita Ainembabazi, who scored in the first leg, were once again on the score-sheet today.
Kampala Queens booked a date with Kawempe Muslim in the final slated for Sunday at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
In the previous six editions that the tournament has been staged, no team has either won it twice or defended the crown and with Kampala Queens plus Kawempe Muslim reaching this year’s final, the trend will continue.
