Thirteen times Uganda Premier League champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC)suffered a big setback in their title pursuit after crashing to Calvary 1-0 win on Saturday at Midigo Primary School Playground.
Lawrence Olaboro scored the lone goal to guide Cavalry to only their second win of the season in Yumbe where not so many teams have gone away with maximum points to make KCCA as the latest casualties.
On the other hand, Calvary have given themselves a huge boost in the relegation fight. Despite remaining at the bottom of the table on 13 points, they are only four behind the safety zone.
KCCA went into the game with a depleted squad, missing over 12 first-team players, the latest absentees being Herbert Achayi, Gavin Kizito, Filbert Obenchan and Alex Yiga, among others.
