Former Djibouti national team coach Julien Mette claimed for Tusker FC their first back-to-back victory of 2026 as the brewers tactician following a 2-1 win over relegation-threatened Kariobangi Sharks in a SportPesa League clash staged at the Police Sacco Stadium.
Tusker scored through Francis Oduor, in the 17th minute but teenage sensation Humphrey Aroko offered an immediate riposte two minutes later, with Ian Simiyu delivering all three points for Julien Mette‘s charges.
Tusker went into the match in ninth position with 32 points following a 1-0 win over Murang’a Seal last time out, and were keen to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since December 2025.
Sharks, on the other hand, were 14th on the log with 22 points and were coming on the back of a midweek win over APS Bomet in the relegation dog fight.

An own goal ended the 2021 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) third place finishers Bidco United’s 17-match winless streak for a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars at the Wang’uru Stadium, Kirinyaga.

In the end, Bidco secured a vital win for the first time since Wednesday, 29 October 2025. In effect, the Anthony Akhulia-coached side moved out of the relegation zone to sit 15th on the log with 20 points.

Homeboyz Captain Moses Mudavadi handed the hosts the lead in the first half before Joseph Masibo restored parity for the Law Enforces. Shafik Batambuze ensured Abana Beingo quickly recaptured the lead to deliver all three points for Patrick Odhiambo‘s charges.
The victory lifts Homeboyz to 38 points, consolidating their position in fourth place and keeping their title aspirations firmly on track.
For APS Bomet, the defeat compounds their struggles as they continue to stare at the harsh reality of relegation in their debut top-flight campaign.

Mara Sugar returned to winning ways with a convincing 3-1 triumph over bottom-placed and the 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka at Muhoroni Stadium.
Goals from Dennis Cheruyot and a brace by Alex Imbusia ensured the Kilgoris-based side claimed maximum points on home soil.
The result lifts Mara Sugar to 28 points in 11th position, significantly strengthening their survival bid.
