Kenyan Premier League rivals Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC will lock horns as they each seek to reclaim their Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Mozzart Bet Cup titles at the coast on Sunday, June 14th, 2026.
Tusker who last won the cup 10 years ago will be going for the fourth as the law enforcers winners of the 2024 edition will both be seeking for redemption in the cup win to be staged at Kwale Stadium, after failing to clinch the SportPesa League in the just ended 2025/26 season.
With silverware, continental football and pride all on the line, Tusker and Kenya Police know they have one final chance to transform a disappointing season into a memorable one and also gain a consolation by booking a ticket to continental competition where the Mozzart Bet Cup winners represent the country in the CAF Confederation tournament.
The Brewers enter the final as underdogs against a Police side that recently clinched the league title and completed a league double over Tusker.
Ahead of the match, Kenya Police have suffered a blow by losing the services five players as they take to the field to battle the brewers who are at full strength.
The law enforcers under the tutelage of Nicholas Muyoti will miss the services of right winger Alvin Mangeni, left-back Enock Masinza, Congolese striker Jacques Ndecket Bowamba, defender Kevin Ouma who was recalled from a loan spell with the relegated Kenyan Premier League side Bidco United , 22-year-old forward/winger Edward “Ondimo” Omondi ruled out with injuries while winger David Okoth Odhiambo who is bereaved following the recent passing of his beloved mother.
Nicholas Muyoti who won the FKF Mozzart Bet Cup as coach with Nairobi United last year said the absence of the six players is a big blow to his squad but said he still has other players on roaster who will act as replacements and are ready to prove their worth.
Police head into the final having not conceded a goal in open play throughout the competition, with their compact defensive structure becoming the foundation of their cup run.

Tusker FC head coach Frenchman Julien Mette heading for training at Kwale Stadium
Tusker FC head coach Frenchman Julien Mette has admitted his side must become more clinical in front of goal ahead of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup final.
The former Djibouti national team coach acknowledged the challenge awaiting his side, noting that their opponents, Kenya Police FC, possess one of the strongest defences in the league.
“It is going to be a difficult match because Kenya Police also want to win the Cup after the league title slipped out of reach for them,” he said.
However, Muyoti is aware of the challenge posed by Tusker FC, whom he described as one of the league’s most tactically organised teams. “They are very structured, very intelligent in how they move the ball,” he said. “You cannot switch off against them, not even for a second.”
Kenya Police FC advanced to their second Mozzart Bet Cup final in three years after edging Bandari FC 5-3 on penalties following a barren draw in regular time in a semi-final staged at the Nyayo Stadium.
Tusker have also received a timely boost ahead of the final, with defender Francis Oduor returning to full fitness. Apart from midfielder Vincent Owino, whose season ended following knee surgery, the rest of the squad is available for selection.
The Brewers booked their place in the final after edging KCB FC 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw in normal time. Mette now believes improving their finishing will be crucial if Tusker are to rescue their season with silverware after falling out of contention in the Kenya Premier League title race.
Tusker have largely relied on Eric Kapaito for goals, supported by youngster David Polepole, who was promoted from Tusker Youth, and Tanzanian forward Ibrahim Joshua, who returned to the club during the January transfer window for a second spell.
Tusker’s league campaign failed to meet expectations, with the 12-time champions finishing ninth in the standings. However, their impressive run in the domestic cup competition has offered a chance for redemption.
