Gor Mahia beat the 2025 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Mozzart Bet Cup third place finishers Murang’a SEAL 1-3 on Sunday afternoon at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi to march closer to their 22nd Kenyan Premier League title
Goals by Samuel Kapen and Shariff Musa reduced Joe Waithira’s strike to a mere consolation stretching their lead in the title race back to four points against rivals AFC Leopards with two matches remaining.
The win moves the League leaders to 68 points, keeping them firmly in the driving seat for the championship and leaving them just one win away from securing the title.
For MSEAL, the home defeat leaves them frozen on 41 points, keeping them mid-table but denting their ambitions of securing a top-half finish as the season reaches its climax.

Mahia are now on 68 points, four points above AFC Leopards and need just a single win to clinch the title. Next up for the 22-time champions is a clash against the 2025 FKF Mozzart Bet Cup semi finalists Mara Sugar.
