Seventeen times national champions Sports Club Villa and Kitara FC have booked their places in the Uganda Cup final .
Villa eliminated Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) as Kitara reached the 2026 Stanbic Uganda Cup final after dumping out holders Vipers out on away goals rule following a 1-1 draw at Kitende.

Villa booked their place in the Uganda Cup final for the first time in a decade after edging out Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) 1-0 in the second leg of the semifinal played on Saturday at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.
SC Villa completed a semi-final double over URA to reach the 2026 Stanbic Uganda Cup final to now aim to win a 10th Uganda Cup, their first in eleven years after they beat KCCA 3-0 in a controversially replayed final at Namboole in 2015.
The victory sends SC Villa to their first Uganda Cup final since 2015, when they defeated KCCA in a rescheduled final at Namboole Stadium.
On their journey to the final, the Jogoos eliminated Pallisa Hospital, BUL FC, Maroons and Happy Boys Kagaba before overcoming URA in the semifinals.
The Uganda Cup now represents Villa’s clearest route to silverware this season, with the club currently third in the Uganda Premier League standings on 55 points, seven behind leaders Vipers with only two matches left to play.
They will take on Kitara in the final after the Royals knocked out holders Vipers on the away goals rule in the other semifinal.
The two finalists have already met twice in the league this season, with Villa winning 1-0 in Kadiba before Kitara responded with a 2-0 victory in Hoima.
