Naibois Out To Keep Winning Run Against Slum Boys
Nairobi United will be aiming to make it two wins in a row in the FKF Sportpesa League as they take on Mathare United tommorow Saturday 2 P.M, at Kasarani Annex.
The Naibois who are on a brilliant run of form will be out on a revenge mission against the Slum Boys. Nairobi United remain unbeaten in their last five Sportpesa League matches winning two and drawing three.
In their last Sportpesa League match against Muranga Seal the Naibois produced a performance for the ages coming from 2_0 down to win the match 4_2 in dramatic fashion.
Micheal karamor was the star of the show as he produced a memorable first half hat-trick before wonder boy Kevin Wangaya put the icing on the cake with a second half free kick goal to complete the comeback.
Kevin Wangaya has now scored four goals and assisted six in his last ten appearances for the club, while Micheal Karamor has scored eight and assisted three in his last thirteen appearances for the Naibois.
Mathare United come into the match after a 3_0 win against relegation bound Bidco United in their last Sportpesa League encounter. Talisman John Makwata scored a brace in between a Musa Masika strike.
In the last Sportpesa League match between the two sides played in early December last year at Dandora Stadium, Mathare United emerged winners courtesy of a Paul Kinyajui strike in the 81st minute.
Speaking ahead of the match Nairobi United Assistant Coach Sadique Ambani remained confident. “The boys have trained well from the previous match, we have done the corrections that were needed from the last game. Hopefully tommorow the boys will be very positive against Mathare United.”
