Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) trounced BIDCO Uganda Limited (BUL) 5-2 to ease their Premier League relegation worries on Tuesday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Victory propels UPDF to 12th position with 20 points and now have a five-point cushion on the red zone. On the other hand, BUL remain eighth on 31 points.

Relegation threatened Mbarara City squandered a valuable chance in moving away from the basement of the Uganda Premier League after squandering a two-goal lead be held 2-2 by Maroons FC at Rwamwanja Stadium.
In the second half, Maroons returneda rejuvenated side former Mbarara City player Marvin Oshaba pulling one back in the 53rd minute to ignited the comeback before Dickson Niwamanya levelling matters twelve minutes from time.
The result means Mbarara City remain 14th on the pile with 17 points, just two ahead of the red line while Maroons move to ninth place on 30 points.
