The clinical victory moves the Msimbazi giants to 39 points, piling the pressure on rivals and defending champions Young Africans (Yanga), leaving Fountain Gate, languishing in 14th place with 16 points, in the relegation dogfight.
Simba asserted their authority from the opening whistle, though a stubborn Fountain Gate defence held firm for much of the first half.
