Rwandese Premier League Champions APR Advance to Peace Cup Quarter Finals

Rwanda Premier League champions APR FC knocked-out SC Kiyovu to book their place in the 2026 Peace Cup quarterfinals after knocking out SC Kiyovu with a 2–0 aggregate victory in the Round of 16.

In the first leg, the military side’s beat the to times Rwandan Cup champions and edged closer to qualifying, as a goalless draw in the second leg at Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday, March 4, was enough to see them through to the last eight.

APR will now face Gasogi United, who eliminated Musanze FC with a 3–2 aggregate win on Tuesday.

Two times Rwanda Super Cup champions AS Kigali eliminated Marines FC on the away goals rule after a 1–1 draw in the second leg to advance to the quarterfinals,

The two sides had drawn 2–2 in the first leg in Rubavu.

The Citizens will now face either Muhazi United or Gorilla FC in the next round.

Etincelles 3 Mukura 2

The 1988 Ranfa Cup winners Etincelles FC, beat Mukura VS 3–2 away at Kamena Stadium . The result saw Etincelles progress on the away goals rule after a 4–4 aggregate draw.

Mukura had won the first leg 2–1 in Rubavu, but Etincelles’ away goals proved decisive. They will now meet Bugesera FC in the quarterfinals.

Bugesera advanced after beating Amagaju FC 2–1 in the second leg in Nyamata, sealing a 4–3 aggregate victory. The two teams had played out a 2–2 draw at Kamena Stadium in the first leg a fortnight earlier.
