Young Africans Demolish Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa Tanzania to Top Premier League

DEFENDING champions Young Africans (Yanga) moved to the  top of the Tanzania Premier League with aa 5-0 demolition of Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa Tanzania (JKT) at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

Yanga defender Mohammed Hussein burst through the heart of JKT’s backline and calmly drilled a low effort beyond Chalamanda’s  dive to make it 1-0 after Prince Dube, linking  with Depu, slipped a penetrative pass to him for the goal.

Depu doubled the advantage on 69 minutes with a header, before Mudathir Yahya capitalised on a rebound to add a third. Then Prince Dube then got the fourth goal, after finishing Buba Jammeh’s  assist in the 84th minute.

Sheikhan Khamis unleashed a thunderous strike from outside the box in the 89th minute to seal a five-star display.

The victory takes Yanga  to the top of the standings to 28 points from 10 matches after dislodging Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa Tanzania from the summit.
