RS Berkane put on a solid display at home, cruising to a 3–0 win over Zambia’s Power Dynamos. They got off to a great start, with an own goal by Aaron Katebe giving Berkane a 1–0 lead in the 13th minute. Just three minutes later, Haytam Manaout made a slick assist to Mounir Chouiar, who found the bottom-left corner to make it 2–0 in no time.
In the second half, Berkane kept the pressure on, staying calm and in control in midfield. Their hard work paid off again in the 65th minute when they earned a penalty. Paul Valère Bassène stepped up and nailed it, shooting down the middle to stretch the lead to 3–0.
They wrapped things up efficiently, celebrating a convincing win and kicking off their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League group stage debut on a high note.
