KCCA 5 Onduparaka 0
Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) reached the quarter final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after a comprehensive 5-0 win over Onduparaka at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.
Emmanuel Anyama got a brace on the day with Said Mayanja, Alex Yiga and Sammy Ssebaduka scoring a goal each.
The record joint holders, last season’s finalists, were the better side on the night and fully deserved their victory.
The Kasasiro now remain on course for a league and cup double as they trail league leaders Vipers by five points with nine match rounds left.
They join lower league side Happy Boys FC Kagaba and NEC, who eliminated Six O’clock and Lugazi, respectively.
NEC 2 Lugazi FC 0
National Enterprise Corporation Football Club (NEC FC) eliminated Lugazi FC out of the 52nd Stanbic Uganda Cup with a 2-0 win at the MTN Omondi Stadium under sunny conditions on Tuesday, 17th March 2026.
Gideon Odongo and January window signing Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo were on the score sheet for Badru Kaddu Mukasa’s coached side.
Odongo gave NEC FC the lead with a sixth-minute powerful header off Hakim Wandera’s inviting corner kick.
Two minutes later, Ssekamatte, who transferred from UPDF during the secondary players’ transfer period, buried home Emmanuel Kulanga’s delivery as the hosts extended their lead.
The second half did not produce any goals for the two sides as NEC, losing finalists in 2023 to Kitara, marched to the last eight stage.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s coached Lugazi continues with the challenges in this season, having had a sloppy start in the league and now elimination in the FA cup.
