Nairobi United will be aiming to climb upto eighth in the Sportpesa League as they face bottom of the league side Sofapaka F.C tomorrow, Saturday 14th March at Kasarani Annex, kick off set at 1 P.M
The early afternoon encounter promises to be a spectacle as the Naibois will be looking out for revenge after Batoto Ba Mungu emerged winners in the first leg staged at Dandora Stadium.
On that Saturday afternoon, the Naibois fresh from qualifying to the group stages of the Caf Confederations Cup were humbled 3_0 by the former champions in a shocking result that caught many by surprise.
Sofapaka will be hoping to benefit from the new manager bounce as they aim to salvage their faltering season after appointing Edward Manoah as their new head coach.
Speaking ahead of the match, Nairobi United head coach Geoffrey Oduor expressed confidence on getting a positive result, although he expects a tough contest.
“Ofcourse every team that is in the league is aiming to get points. Our urgency to win will be very key, we therefore don’t look at the position of the opponent, but rather aim for the win and get the three points”
