Defending champions Vipers Sports Club pipped Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) to bag their 14th victory of the season in 20 outings at the Bombo Barracks Military Stadium on Wednesday, 11th March 2026.
Arafat Usama Kiza and Abdul Karim Watambala scored for Vipers, extended their lead at the summit with 47 points, four clear of second-placed Kitara.

Lawrence Tezikya struck an early goal in the seventh minute, finishing off Ibrahim Abubaker Ssengoba’s assist to give the hosts the advantage.
The result lifted Police to sixth place on 35 points from 20 matches, while fourth-placed Villa remained fourth on 38 points, missing an opportunity to keep pace with the leading pack.
Going into the match The Jogoos had not lost to Police since a 2-1 defeat in 2014 with the record champions claiming only five wins in that sequence as most matches were drawn.
