KCCA Disarm Police, Military Men Hold Kitara in Uganda Premier League War

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC)  pipped Police 2-1 in  a MTN Uganda Premier League to win their fourth successive game across all competitions. at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on March 6th, 2026.

The 13 times Premier League champions doubled their lead at the half hour mark through Saidi Mayanja with a header from close range courtesy of an Ivan Ahimbisibwe made the donkey work.

Lawrence Tezikya’s scored the law enforcers consolation goal from powerful strike inside the box.

It was revenge for KCCA for the loss in the reverse fixture in Kamwokya where they lost 2-0.

The result moved KCCA to third place on 39 points while Police dropped to sixth position on 32 points.

The two teams will return to action next week with Police hosting SC Villa on 10th March 2026. A day later, will see KCCA visiting Express FC in the Kampala derby under the lights at Nakivubo Stadium.

UPDF 1 Kitara 1

Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) played to a one-all draw with visiting Kitara at the Military Barracks stadium in Bombo.

The military’s side mid-season signing Ivan Bogere opened the scores in the 71st minute before Living Kabon equalised from the spot with ten minutes to play.

Lugazi 0-2 NEC

Samuel Ssekamatte scored a brace for National Enterprise Corporation (NEC FC) to secured a 2-0 victory against Lugazi in a Uganda Premier League encounter at Lugazi Stadium

Ssekamatte broke the deadlock in the 51st minute before being tripped in the box for the center refereeto point at the spot for a penalty.

The victory takes NEC to the seventh position with 30 points in 19 games while Lugazi lie 11th on the log with 18 points in 19 league games.

BIDCO Uganda Limited (BUL) condemned Calvary to their 14th loss of the season with 5-1 victory
