The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the draws for the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup for the 2025-2026 season will take place on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association.
The draws will determine the quarter-final pairings and the route to the finals in both competitions, as Africa’s leading clubs move into the decisive knockout phase of the 2025/26 season.
The CAF noted in its statement that the Confederation Cup draw will be held before the Champions League draw. Both draws will be live on CAF’s Official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
Four renowned African football Legends, Radhi Jaïdi (Tunisia), Momo Sissoko (Mali), Emad Moteab (Egypt) and Mateus “Manucho” Gonçalves (Angola) will assist with the draw proceedings that will officially map out the next phase of the continent’s premier interclub competitions.
Eight teams progressed to the knockout stage, split into two pots according to their finishing positions.
The teams that qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals are Al Ahly and Pyramids FC (Egypt), RS Berkane and FAR Rabat (Morocco), Al Hilal (Sudan), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and Stade Malien (Mali).
