Gor went on to double their lead a minute later when another new signing of South Sudan international Jackson Dwang who joined Gor Mahia from a Kenyan Premier League outfit Posta Rangers found a loose ball in the box after APS failed to clear their lines and scored to open his K’Ogalo account.

APS pulled one back in the 83rd minute through the returning Hansel Ochieng signed from the 2005 FKF Cup champions Nairobi City Stars (formerly World Hope) who previously made headlines for scoring a hat-trick against Gor Mahia for the administration police officers in November 2025 to take his season tally against the Green Army to three goals.
