Villa, KCCA Storm to Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32

Record Uganda Cup Champions, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and 17 times Premier League champions SC Villa stormed to the round of 32 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

KCCA beat St George Masindi 2-0 to reach the round of 32 after in the Stanbic Uganda Cup encounter on Thursday, February 5th, 2026  as Villa overcame Pallisa Hospital FC 2-1 in the round of 64 .

Coming off a dissapointing 1-0 loss to Entebbe UPPC, Emmanuel Anyama and Ivan Ahimbisibwe were on target as the Kasasiro Boys bagged victory.

On Friday, Villa put up a spirited performance to edge out the medical institution after being reduced to ten men following the early dismissal of goalkeeper Jean-Braddy Wokorach.

In another cup match, Entebbe Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) Football Club progressed to the round of 32 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Second half substitute Fazil “Chopra” Tumwine scored the lone goal of the goal in a game that was marred by rains.

SC Villa joins other teams that have confirmed their slot into the round of 32, including holders Vipers SC, BUL FC, KCCA FC, Express FC, NEC FC, Kitara FC and Entebbe UPPC FC, among others.
