CAF and Channel 4 have reached a historic agreement that will bring all 52 matches of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 to free-to-air television in the UK for the first time.
Channel 4 has secured exclusive broadcast rights, ensuring complete coverage of the tournament across its platforms, including Channel 4, E4, 4Seven, streaming services, and the Channel 4 Sport YouTube channel.
The tournament, scheduled to take place from Sunday, December 21, 2025, to Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Morocco, will feature 24 teams competing across nine stadiums.
Notable Premier League stars, including Mohamed Salah, Bryan Mbeumo, Omar Marmoush, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, are expected to participate, adding excitement for football fans.
This landmark deal was made possible through a partnership facilitated by IMG, CAF’s international media rights and sponsorship agency.
CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba highlighted the significance of the agreement, emphasizing that it will bring the African Cup of Nations into every UK household, elevating its global profile.
