CAF and KONAMI announce agreement making KONAMI the Official Gaming Sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025 and 2027
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and KONAMI Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd (KONAMI), the world’s leading interactive entertainment companies, have finalized an agreement designating KONAMI as the Official Gaming Sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for both the 2025 and 2027 tournaments.
Under this partnership, KONAMI gains exclusive gaming rights to recreate the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON within its globally acclaimed football video game, eFootball™.
CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba stated: “The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be one of the most exciting and widely watched editions of our premier tournament. The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be held from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
