CAF Set to Host Exciting Interclub Group Stage Draw in Johannesburg

Johannesburg, South Africa – The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) is gearing up for a highly anticipated event as it invites media and football enthusiasts to the official draw for the CAF Interclub Group Stage. Scheduled for Monday, 03 November 2025, the draw will take place at the SuperSport studios in Randburg, Johannesburg, starting at 13h00 local time.

This year’s draw will determine the groups for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup, featuring 16 clubs competing for glory in Africa’s premier club tournaments. The Confederation Cup draw will kick off at 13h00 SA time (11h00 GMT), followed by the Champions League draw at 14h00 SA time (12h00 GMT).

Adding star power to the event, African football legends Christopher Katongo from Zambia and Alex Song from Cameroon will assist in conducting the draw. Both legends are also expected to be available for interviews after the draw, offering their insights on the upcoming competitions.
